Banquet Hall
|
|
The hall is very architecturally pleasing with its unique cathedral style,
fir laminated beams and cedar planking structure. The hardwood floor,
built-in stage, balcony, coat-check room, serve-through bar and bathrooms
compliment this beautiful building. Air conditioning is available for
summer events. These characteristics make this hall very user friendly
for a variety of events.

This hall has been used for such events as fall suppers,
conventions, concerts, exercise classes, square dancing, flea markets,
socials, weddings, festivals, and meetings. Because of Onanole's close
proximity to Clear Lake and Riding Mountain National Park, this hall has
become a magnet for weddings. Couples from all over Manitoba and Western
Canada come to hold their wedding celebrations here. Building acoustics
have made this venue very popular for concerts. Capacity for events serving
alcohol is 250 people and without alcohol 300 people.

Fitness Centre
|

|
This fitness centre is the envy of many small and midsize communities.
It is housed in a bright, spacious room of over 3,000 sq. ft. with 10
ft ceilings and painted with bright uplifting colours. Add to this the
infloor heat, energy efficient lighting, full line of fitness equipment,
24 hour per day entry and your workout will become an enjoyable experience.

The fitness equipment includes tread mills, elliptical
trainers, stationary bikes, leg press machine, smith machine, chin-up
and dip bar station, curl & straight bars with lots of free weights,
a variety of fixed weight dumbbells, ½ ball, exercise balls, punching
bag and much more. If you are not interested in using the weights there
is a track for walking and many mirrors for aerobic workouts. After a
hard work out, you can cool off in the shower.
Memberships are sold for 1 month or 6 month terms, or you can pay a daily
drop-in fee.

It will be a pleasant experience for hockey players using
the four large bright dressing rooms. Each dressing room has 10 ft ceilings,
in-floor heat, shower, bathroom, high efficiency lighting, and a state
of the art fresh air/ exhaust air handling system.
The arena ice surface which is 70 ft by 174 ft is serviced by an Olympia
ice surfacing machine. It is kept busy with public skating, learn to skate
program, youth hockey, women's hockey and the OHL senior hockey.
Spectators and parents can relax in the renovated viewing lounge. Executive
soft seating is available in the bleachers looking onto the ice surface.
Spectators and players are able to satisfy their cravings for a variety
of food from the new canteen. It is equipped with a pizza oven, french
fry/onion ring fryer, hamburger grills and other equipment. A friendly
group of area volunteers are instrumental in its operation.

Kitchen

The new kitchen is a dream come true for banquet hall
users and caters. It is located in a large room with 10 ft. ceilings,
high efficiency lighting and a fresh air/exhaust air handling system.
The room is supplied with electric stoves, a pizza oven, fridges, coolers,
number of sinks, commercial dishwasher, microwave ovens, and stainless
steel work tables.Dishes and cutlery are available for up to 300 people.
The canteen and kitchen are joined for dual use.
Cooking classes held in the kitchen for adults and children classes have
drawn great reviews from organizers.

Ball Diamonds and Soccer Fields
|
|
|
There are two ball diamonds and soccer fields located
on the grounds for summer use. There is a food booth at one of the diamonds
for running a canteen. Youth baseball hold their regular games and a tournament
each year. Old timers slow pitch hold a two day tournament in September.
The rest of the year it is open for the general public's use.
